listen and learn

Episode 2 of Sex, Lies & Radiowaves is finally out. This episode is bigger and better and now includes strategically placed musical interludes. It's a fun time. Incedibly dorky but very fun to make. I talk about smegma and Andrew delivers a monologue about threesomes while I judge him.

Go listen at the WNSR New School Radio Website.

You can also listen to our first episode in the NewTalk section on the website.

Uh. This semester is coming to an end. It is scary and I have way too much work to do. I've just come down with a massively sore throat and nasty cold. great. I'll try to make it work. I'm trying to keep myself distracted in order to not go overboard with anxiety. Wish me luck. And then I get to go home to winter-wonderland and lounge and see my family. can. not. wait.

It's Andrew's birthday today, happy birthday Andrew. He had a big party over the weekend which was an excellent fun time. A young lady peed out the window into our courtyard and Alex Fitzgerald threw up in a pastry box. This clearly means that it was an epic party.

I am meeting nice people. People are nice to me. Things are looking up maybe. I hope.

Feather & Folly are playing 2 shows in december. check it out. I hope my throat gets better so I'll actually be able to sing.

I don't remember if I posted this before. I wish my sex-advice show was exactly like this.

I don't know what to say anymore. Can you help?

Hi! Happy Obama day! I of course wasn't allowed to vote but I feel that I helped out anyway seeing how most people visit this blog after googling "Obama's font got serif goddamn".

Obama makes me feel fresh. So when is he going to give me a green card? joke.

Here is a rap song:

Okay on to THE IMPORTANT STUFF

The radio show Andrew and I made is ready. Go to http://newschoolradio.org/, scroll down a little bit and click "Sex, Lies and Radiowaves: Show 1". And listen. And then ask more questions! Because we are making more shows! Yes we can!

Tonight I made FAMOUS TUNA SALAD. It has tuna, egg, onion, mayo, cream cheese and seasoning. it is delicious. I ate so much and now I feel disabled. disabled by protein. I don't know where my roommate Andrew is. I think he was kidnapped by Obama campaigners. I am utterly helpless.

Hey here is a picture of Hrafnhildur, I miss her. She lives in Amsterdam and pretends to be a serious student.

Sarah Palin, Lies and Radiowaves

I watched the VP debates last night. I also watched the debates that took place a week ago. This whole thing is kind of upsetting but I'm not going to get into it because well, everyone should be well into it by now. I will just say: If you are an american please vote. And I shouldn't have to tell you who to vote for because the number one search query for this blog by far is the title of this post.

But just in case you're not sure who not to vote for, please watch this video.

So. now that that's clear. I should probably go fold my laundry or do some school work. Because I am trying to be a normal responsible content person these days. I don't know where that will take me if anywhere but we'll see. Later today I am going on a field trip to WNYC, New York Public Radio, the very place that produces the sweet sounds I fall asleep to every night and wake up to every morning. MAGIC.

My radio class is pretty wonderful.

Andrew and I will be hosting a relationship/sex/life advice show on New School Radio called Sex, Lies and Radiowaves and we need you to ask us questions so we'll have something to talk about. We are obviously not doctors or psychologists so try to stay away from that sort of heavy stuff. But we are taking this relatively seriously. So please ask our advice about anything by e-mailing us at askradiowaves@gmail.com

We of course won't give out anyone's name or e-mail address. We will do our best to answer everyone, you don't even have to put a lot of thought into it, just take a minute and ask away because we need submissions to get things rolling.

Alright. laundry folding time. food eating time. I'll close with a couple of old Lomo photos of Eric Schlosberg because he is a fun guy. And who doesn't like fun guys.
